"And the Christ is Birthed in Every Room"
This quilt was made for the parish community of St, Agnes Catholic Church in Cincinnati, where I have been a sacramental minister for
many years. The quilt hangs there every Advent, symbolizing the integration of the Jesus born
in Bethlehem with the Christ alive in our world today.

In 2011 St. Agnes parish was merged with three others to form The Church
of the Resurrection. The quilt no longer fit the liturgical need of the community. The pastor graciously released the gift back to its maker.

The Maryland Province of the Jesuits built the Claude de la Colombiere retirement community in Baltimore and asked me for a quilt for permanent display. So "And the Christ in Birthed in Every Room" found a permanent home there!
